You don’t see brandy around during the hotter months. It’s usually found in holiday glazes, flambéed desserts, and sifter sitting in dark cigar rooms. But I’ve never been one to follow the rules, so I’m bringing out this saucy liquor to shake things up at my Seaside Picnic.
|2 oz brandy|
|1 small lime, quartered|
|2 small lemons, 1 quartered, 1 sliced for garnish|
|4 oz pineapple juice|
|1 small orange, sliced for garnish|
Fill rocks glass with ice. Pour in brandy.
Squeeze 1 lime and lemon slice over brandy. Add in pineapple juice.
Stir. Garnish with lemon and orange. Serve.
*SIDE NOTE: This cocktail tastes best when made individually. But for convenience or travel, see recipe below for 6+ servings.
In a large pitcher, stir in 1 1/2 cups brandy and 3 cups pineapple juice.
Juice 2 limes, 3 lemons and add to pitcher.
Store in refrigerator. Stir before serving over ice. Don’t forget your garnishes!
